The formula car racing series from the junior classes of the 60s and 70s keep an important piece of motorsport history alive.
The Historic Monoposto Racing Foundation was founded in 1996 with the aim of keeping the formula cars of the 60s and 70s in racing. HMR wants to offer customers great races on outstanding tracks with a wonderful atmosphere.
To the top across several formula classes
Ayrton Senna, Alan Prost, Niki Lauda, Emerson Fittipaldi, Arie Luijendijk, Jan Lammers and many others have taken this route. After a successful karting career, the next step to the top was very often Formula Vee, Formula Ford 1600, Formula Ford 2000 or Formula 3. Many of these historically significant cars have survived and are racing very successfully today. In this way, an important piece of racing history is kept alive.
The HMR races are not only a great pleasure for the drivers, but also for the fans who visit us at the various events. Close and fair races offer a high level spectacle that is very well suited to promote products and companies that want to offer their customers "something different". The group is divided into 4 classes, so it is always exciting throughout the field.
